Made by Rose UK
Public launch planned for 1 January 2027Brand, website, app and production tools for a new UK handmade soy wax melt and home fragrance business.
Made by Rose UK makes soy wax melts and home fragrance by hand in the UK. Its signature product is an 80 g snap bar of nine squares: four roses, four hearts and an engraved "Made by Rose UK" centre square. There are 88 scents, 24 of them in the launch range.

The problem
A small handmade business has the same paperwork as a big one: product pages, prices, stock, allergen labels, delivery options, legal pages and packaging. It just has far fewer hands. The business needed a shop and a brand that were simple to keep accurate from day one, without retyping the same fact in five places.
Our approach
One product file holds every product, price, scent and shop setting. The website, the stock flags, the Etsy listing packs and the labels are all generated from it, and a checking script audits the result before anything is uploaded.
From brand to packaging.
A blush, sage, rose and cream palette with dark ink text, a script and serif type pairing, and a round dripping-wax rose badge. The brand is used consistently across the web, email signature, Etsy banners and labels.
A Python site builder generates 76 top-level pages and 262 product pages from one product file. It includes a basket with a Royal Mail delivery chooser and free standard delivery over £35.
A scent quiz scored from tags on each scent, a scent library, and seasonal campaigns that switch automatically by date.
Stock flags and best-seller picks are written each morning from the stock tracker. CLP allergen panels are read from a workbook rather than typed by hand.
The website turned into an Android app with Capacitor, with a tab bar, transitions, a notifications bell and email-code sign-in. It was submitted to Google Play closed testing on 29 October 2026.
Business mailboxes with an HTML signature, and a newsletter with double opt-in for sign-ups and "email me when it’s back" alerts.
A clamshell modelled parametrically in Python and 3D-printed as a vacuum-forming buck (later moved to a manufacturer-made tray), plus 3D-printed mould masters with engraved IDs.
A GB CLP back label for each scent, snap-bar labels at 78 × 94 mm and 85.6 × 18 mm with 3 mm bleed, gift tags, a thank-you card and a seal sticker.
Behind the scenes
A 7:00 morning check lists orders to post, stock to remake, materials to buy and quotes waiting. It reads and reports, and changes nothing without a yes. Further scripts check suppliers’ stock, verify the mould register and build Etsy listing packs.
Status
Checkout will use Shopify Payments, and the product import file and shipping rates are already prepared. The site stays private until the public launch, which is planned for 1 January 2027.
